Sedation Dentistry

Although every effort is made to have you feel comfortable during your dental visit, you may prefer or need additional help in feeling relaxed.

We offer the following options to make you feel more comfortable and lower any anxiety you may have:

  • Nitrous Oxide

  • Oral Conscious Sedation

Nitrous, referred to as "laughing gas" can be breathed throughout the duration of your treatment, and once removed, clear quickly from your system.

If a deeper level of sedation is desired, oral conscious sedation may be best. This consists of a small pill you take 1 hour prior to your appointment and will make you super sleepy. You will still be able to respond to the dentist, but will most likely not remember the appointment. A driver/chaperone is required for this type of sedation.

Patients will often times request multiple procedures to be preformed while sedated to take full advantage of the sedation.
